Massage & Advanced Bodywork
Clinical · Therapeutic · Medical massage · Deep tissue · Myofascial · Neuromuscular · Trigger point · Lymphatic drainage · Swedish · Craniosacral
Full-body massage tailored to what hurts — from Swedish and craniosacral work through deep tissue and advanced medical-massage technique for chronic pain, old injuries, and post-hike, post-ski, high-altitude recovery. Every practitioner here is licensed, certified, and in ongoing advanced and medical-massage training. Two tiers reflect the depth of the work, not the care. We specialize in the aches and pains of runners, hikers, and skiers.
Real work on stress, tension, and tired tissue: Swedish massage and nervous-system-calming modalities such as craniosacral work, tuned to you. Come down off Humphreys or the Snowbowl and put yourself back together.
Assessment plus advanced technique — deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point release, and lymphatic drainage, as needed — for back and neck pain, plantar fasciitis and foot pain, hips, knees, hands and shoulders, old injuries, and the cases other massage hasn't touched.
Not sure which? Relaxation Massage is a spa massage for stress, tension, and recovery. Clinical Bodywork is therapeutic, medical massage aimed at a specific problem that hurts or keeps coming back. See the difference → Or call and we’ll help you choose.

Clinical Tools & Spa Therapies
The clinical kit and the spa therapies live in the same room as the massage table. Add-on therapies are an extra fee. Ask for any of these when you book, or let your practitioner reach for what the tissue needs.
Decompression and scraping techniques that free stuck fascia, move stagnation, and speed recovery in tight, overworked tissue.
Alternating warm and cool stones to open circulation, calm inflammation, and reach deep tension the hands alone can't.
Needle and needle-free point work to settle the nervous system and support pain relief and recovery.
Warm, mineral-rich moor mud applied to aching joints and low backs — an old European remedy for stubborn inflammation.
Light therapy over the treated area to vitalize cells, ease soreness, and speed tissue repair.
Pneumatic compression for heavy, swollen, or run-down legs — hikers, runners, skiers, and long-haul travelers.
With a Physician
Two doctors see patients at the Center. Dr. Sara Hazel takes physical medicine — chronic pain, old injuries, the mechanics of how you move. Dr. Christine Girard takes physical medicine and general medicine, Sundays and Fridays.
A full history, a real conversation, and a plan. Follow-ups run long, moderate or brief depending on what is actually in front of you.
Advanced medical massage and manual therapy — for chronic pain, old injuries, and the cases other massage has not touched. Gait, posture, fascia, joint mechanics, and the movement patterns underneath the pain.
Most of the fluid in your body is not blood. Lymph and interstitial fluid have no pump — they move when the structure around them moves. Light, specifically sequenced work for swelling, puffiness, heavy legs, and recovery after surgery or illness, with the structural restrictions holding that fluid in place addressed in the same hour. With Dr. Hazel. How it works, and what the interstitium is →
Not sure where to start? Both doctors offer a free fifteen-minute call — by phone or in person. Read their bios →
The Foot Journeys · Reflexology
Every foot journey opens with the Threshold Experience — essential oils, hot towels, cool botanical and gem-elixir sprays, and botanical balms to prepare and anoint the feet and legs, with heated Himalayan salt domes for grounding and soothing infrared warmth.
Every journey draws on reflexology, hot and cold stones, vibration, red light, gemstone foot baths, and medicated essential oils — recovery for feet that have hiked, skied, stood, or wandered too far.
Advanced foot and body care, drawing reflexology together with ancient techniques from eastern and western healing arts.
Reflexology and meridian work calms the nervous system, supports lymphatic drainage, and opens the flow of Qi. Hot and cold stones then work in alternating waves to clear stagnation and restore balance.
Warm arnica oils and therapeutic technique support fascia release and muscle recovery — for feet and legs strained by hiking, skiing, or running — paired with red, infrared, and blue light therapy to vitalize the cells and speed repair. You leave with a healing oil, balm, or spray for home.
Book online, or call (928) 444-9411. Any journey can be expanded with the clinical tools and spa therapies above.
